- Accepted Eric Shepperd (Attorney), Sheila Love (Social Worker), Kenneth Medlock (HR Resource), and Paul Hunt (Pastor) as members of the new Grievance and Appeals Committee.
- Voted the Fredericksburg Company to become a church.
- Added the Round Rock Spanish Group to the Elgin / Fredericksburg district.
- Hired Javier Vega as a stipend pastor for the Waco Spanish Church.
- Hired Jesus Gomez-Trujillo as a stipend pastor for the Lufkin Spanish Company and the Livingston Branch Sabbath School.
June 8, 2008 (Call Teleconference):
- Hired Mrs. Shakuntala Ramsarran, the principal of the Excel Academy in Missouri City, Texas, as the new Education Superintendent for the SWRC, replacing Frank Jones.
April 27, 2008:
- Voted the re-opening of the Caffin Avenue Church in New Orleans, LA.
- Hire Carl Ming as a full-time pastor of the Caffin Avenue Church pending securing of Visa.
- Hired Rogers Johnson as the Interim Pastor for the Athens / Lufkin / Nacogdoches district.
- Hired Alfred Booker as the Interim Pastor of the Baton Rouge Berean Church.
- Formed a new district with the Elgin Church and the Fredericksburg company.
- Hired Alexander Ramirez as a stipend pastor for the Elgin / Fredericksburg district effective June 1, 2008.
March 30, 2008 (Call Meeting):
- Hired Pastor Kircio Mota as a full-time pastor for the Maranatha, Smyrna Spanish, and Katy churches in the Greater Houston area.
February 17, 2008:
- Accepted John McKinney as a new member of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee, replacing Paul Williams.
- Granted Chaplain Jacqueline Mitchell the Commissioned Minister's Credential.
December 16, 2007:
- Voted a Strategic Planning Committee.
October 14, 2007:
- Accepted the Excellent Edge and Adventist Edge documents; appointed the K-12 board to formulate a Strategic Plan for Education using the two aforementioned documents.
- Accepted John McKinney as a member of the Executive Committee, replacing Paul Williams.
August 12, 2007:

Evangelism Initiative voted 02/18/07: Operation Global Rain (June 27 - July 2007). Conference to join other conferences around the world to pray and fast for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
