June 28, 2009 Meeting:
- Accepted Roberta Hodges request to retire effective June 30, 2009.
- Accepted the Elgin Hammond Church's request to change its name to the Elgin Hammond Spanish Church.
April 26, 2009 Meeting:
- Accepted the Ordination Committee's recommendation to ordain Pastor Tony Brown.
- Accepted the DFW Ghanaian Church's request to become a church within the Conference.
- Accepted the City Temple Church's request that the Spanish group become an official company of the Conference.
- Voted to assign Pastor Christopher Manual to the Hammond / Covington district in Louisiana when he finishes the seminary in May, 2009.
- Voted to change the Hispanic Ministries to the Hispanic Ministries Department.The department leader will now be an elected position and the department will have a budget like other departments within the Conference.
- Approved a Budget Reduction Contingency Plan if required, by reducing the budget by one full-time pastor, two stipend pastors, eliminating the travel budget increase and reducing the mileage rate.
- Voted an Account Receivables Write-off Plan.
- Approved Paula Dyer as replacement for Gwen Moore on the Executive Committee.
- Voted the Reasonable Accommodation Policy as part of the Southwest Region Conference 'Working Policy'.
- Voted the Retirement Policy as part of the Southwest Region Conference 'Working Policy'.
- Accepted Joe Ellis' request to retire effective December 31, 2009.
- Accepted Sally Carriger's request to retire effective April 26, 2009.
- The ABC will close effective June 30, 2009 due to inability to meet sales quota.
December 14, 2008 Meeting:
- Approved the name change of the Caffin Avenue Adventist Church to the Caffin Avenue International Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Approved the name change of the South Post Oak Spanish Company to the La Esperanza Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Voted names for a Concerned Care Practitioners (CCP) Pool.
- Approved the Round Rock Spanish Group to graduate to a company status.
- Approved Pastor E.C. Polite to replace Alex Horton on the SWRC Association Board, who is no longer employed by this conference.
- Approved names for an Investment Committee.
- Appointed Pastor David Hinds to replace Pastor Michael Bailey on the Executive Committee due to Pastor Bailey's new church assignment which moved him to a new district.
October 21, 2008 (Call Teleconference)
- Hired Gregory Stinson from the South Central Conference to replace Pastor Michael Bailey in the Oklahoma district. Effective date not identified.
September 21, 2008 Meeting:
- Hired Kenneth Edwards as full-time pastor. Pastor Edwards is in the Oklahoma district.
- Transfer Pastor Michael Bailey to the Forest Hill Church in Ft. Worth, Texas from the Oklahoma district contingent upon a replacement pastor being identified.
- Recommended names for a new Investment Committee required by NAD, effective 2009.
July 31, 2008 (Call Teleconference):
- Hired Pastor Eddie Polite as the pastor of the City Temple and Lancaster Agape Church district effective September 1, 2008.
