Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is a standing committee and consists of 12 members. The purpose of the committee is to review / monitor the management of financial resources and financial risks of the Conference including policies with respect to investments and uses of cash and other significant financial actions proposed by the administration.
The Finance Committee shall discuss and make recommendations to the Executive Committee. The Conference Treasurer serves as the chairperson. The committee meets as required and normally meets once monthly to fulfill its responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and recommend approval of the annual budget.
- Review monthly financial statements.
- Review significant capital projects, loans, investments and appropriations.
- Report regularly to the Executive Committee about the activities of this committee.
- Undertake such other matters as may be referred to it by the Executive Committee.
